52 North Venue is a beautiful place to host a Central Alberta wedding, and it’s a bonus that everything is in one place — which means no drive time during the wedding day or worrying about parking. The getting-ready spaces are gorgeous with plenty of natural light that’s great for photos. The groom’s cabin is designed in a rich, dark colour palette while the bridal suite is light and airy with ample space for everyone to get prepped for the big day — you can even spend the night before the big day.
Below is some key information to know about the space if you’re searching for a Central Alberta wedding venue.

I had the opportunity to capture Patti and Dan’s wedding day at 52 North Venue, and it was a beautiful celebration. Patti and Dan met when they were in the fourth grade and had always been in each other’s lives. They finally tied the knot surrounded by loved ones, and their wedding day placed an emphasis on family — from involveing the nine “littles” in the group during the ceremony and dance to thoughtful touches, like using their parents’ rings as wedding bands. Plenty of longtime friends were in attendance too, and it was clear how much Patti and Dan cherish those close to them.
Patti and Dan got ready with their wedding party members and decided against doing a first look. This made their first time seeing one another extra-special. The ceremny was held in a beautiful open space on the 52 North property, with jewel-toned florals and decor.
The ceremony transitioned seamlessly into a champagne toaste and cocktail hour. Patti and Dan’s focus for their Central Alberta wedding was spending time with their loved ones, and their reception was one for the books. The speeches were heartfelt yet humorous, and each person had special memories with the couple. I didn’t meet Patti and Dan until their wedding day, but I felt like part of the group and didn’t want the day to end. Congratulations, Patti and Dan!
