This region of the province is a hidden gem. Central Alberta can be overlooked, but wedding photos there are gorgeous, from intimate acreage ceremonies to striking golden-hour portraits in the Canadian Badlands. There’s such a mix of scenery here, and that’s part of what makes weddings in Central Alberta feel so personal. One couple might celebrate on a quiet family property surrounded by open fields, while another chooses a modern venue tucked in lush greenery. The choice is yours, but there are more options in Central Alberta than many couples are aware of. And new venues are popping up at a steady pace.

READY TO BOOK?

Any wedding I've photographed in Central Alberta tends to feel relaxed and intentional. The pace is a little slower, the conversations last longer, and the focus stays where it should be: on the people you’re sharing the day with. That atmosphere comes through in the photos too. Nothing feels forced or overly polished. It feels real.

The landscape also gives us so much variety without needing to travel far. We can sneak away for sunset portraits beside rolling farmland, find beautiful tree-lined paths for quiet moments together, or lean into the dramatic textures and wide-open skies that make Alberta so iconic. Every season brings something different. Summer evenings glow forever, fall colours add warmth and depth, and winter weddings can feel incredibly cozy and cinematic.

Central Alberta has a way of creating weddings that feel grounded, welcoming, and completely unique to the couple. My goal is always to document those moments honestly so your photos always feel like you and bring you right back to the day.
