I met Logan and Brina in 2022 when we did their engagement session, and they're two of the nicest people. It's also so easy to see just how much they love each other. They tied the knot this summer at Ralph Klein Park in southeast Calgary. It's on the edge of the city and, despite living here for seven years, I hadn't made it out to visit. There's a nature centre onsite that hosts events, plenty of walking paths, and playground equipment for kids. Any avid bird watchers will love it too.

 

Logan and Brina originally planned to have their ceremony on the rooftop patio, but intense winds meant it had to move inside. They took the change in the plans in stride and embraced the wind for portaits — Brina's flowy gown from Durand Bridal was perfect for it. Afterwards, they held a tea reception for their guests, complete with finger sandwiches, charcuterie, a candy bar and sweets from Whippt Kitchen. It was a nice change of pace from standard receptions, and they added some nice touches — like their family favourites at the candy bar and hand-picked tea cups for each guest as their favours / place cards.
