Styled shoots are a great opportunity to connect with local wedding vendors, try out a concept you haven’t had the opportunity to shoot at a real wedding, and learn from other photographers in the community. I recently teamed up with Ashley Nicole Styling to create a modern Bohemian wedding set-up at The Brownstone in downtown Calgary. We opened the session up to other photographers and had a great turnout of creatives at all different levels, which provided an opportunity for everyone to build their portfolios, try some new techniques and share knowledge.
