Courtney won my Love the Dress Instagram giveaway awhile ago, and after a few rescheduled dates due to weather we were able to do her session in downtown Calgary. Her wedding took place in the mountains, and her photos were stunning. But she wanted to capture photos in a more urban setting, so we started on the rooftop of the Platform parkade downtown. Platform is an amazing rooftop location, and they offer a designated photo area so you never have to worry about vehicle traffic. Afterwards, we went back down to ground level to get a few more photos on St. Patrick's Island as the sun set.

Courtney chose to keep her hair and makeup quite natural, embracing the natural texture in her hair and accenting her features with minimal makeup. Love the Dress sessions are an opportunity to try out a different look than you wore on your wedding day. You can choose to do your own hair and makeup or treat yourself to professional services.
